Dunnage Beams and Generator Installed under Tight Deadline at Historic, Downtown Building

Eastman Cooke Team

On March 6th, our team carried out a tall order: the installation of two structural steel dunnage beams and an emergency generator onto the roof of a historic, downtown Manhattan building in one day. With the closure of 22nd Street expiring at day’s end, subcontractor Metro Iron had limited time to complete the rigging, setting and bolting of all galvanized posts and duggage at the Greystone “Spinning Wheel Building.” With carefully planning and coordinating between various subcontractors and building management, the project was a flawless success. Big thanks to Metro Iron for their hard work as well!
