The CarMax Auto Superstore marks the fifth auto dealership built by Eastman Cooke. This multi-building, ground-up project was constructed on five acres of land, complete with a fully integrated building management system (BMS) and a sustainable car wash that reclaims most of the water it uses.
The Eastman Cooke team did the entire sitework development for these 2 standalone buildings, off-site DOT road improvements, and full utility infrastructure. This project implemented Eastman Cooke’s proprietary Work Smart System, encompassing a series of highly collaborative, step-by-step protocols led by the firm’s project managers, estimators and field staff, which enabled us to work effortlessly with subcontractors and other key consultants.
