Eastman Cooke completed the full gut renovation of two existing tenant spaces, which were conjoined to create a modernized law firm across from the courthouse. The 2,400-square-foot project included installation of a new mechanical system, glass storefronts, a new electrical service, a kitchen, and a microtopping floor finish. Extensive structural work was also required, including temporary shoring, new steel supports, reinforced concrete beams, and a detailed rebar layout to stabilize the front of the building for large exterior storefronts.

Our team placed a strong emphasis on safety, following a DOB- approved tenant protection plan to ensure building occupants remained secure throughout construction. Structural challenges were resolved by engaging a dedicated structural engineer to provide additional drawings and details, an investment that reflected Eastman Cooke’s commitment to doing the job right. Smart film technology was incorporated into the interior storefronts, allowing the glass to transition from transparent to opaque with the touch of a switch.

Completed on time and within budget, this project exemplifies Eastman Cooke’s ability to manage scope changes while maintaining client trust and efficiency. Harris, Keenan & Goldfarb PLLC Attorneys at Law now serves as the only pain law firm in the area, providing an essential new resource to the local community just steps from the courthouse.
