New Mobile Project Management Tool Boosts Efficiency and Productivity

Eastman Cooke Team

With a focus on delivering superior projects to its clients, ECA recently launched PROCORE, a cloud-based construction management software program designed to increase project efficiency and accountability.  PROCORE allows multiple users to access project information from any mobile device at any time, making it easier to track progress, share documents, and communicate effectively.  A better construction management experience is the result for all entities involved in our projects.

PROCORE facilitates the requirements of full life cycle project management as it pertains to live financial reporting and document management.  Unique features such as live camera feeds, drawing overlays, custom reporting, and a virtual punch list provide the client with real-time updates.  Rather than searching through old emails to locate important job documents, all parties can log in to their specific project(s) dashboard and observe all elements of the project in a clear and concise manner.

After just three months in use, PROCORE has already impressed the Eastman Cooke team of office and field staff alike.

Henry Buffetti, Project Manager, says the reporting tools are very effective, and his paperwork has been reduced significantly.

Ray Ruggiano, Site Superintendent, has been impressed by how user-friendly the tool is.  “Uploading photos and documents from a mobile device is quick and easy.  The partially automated daily report template is descriptive, and provides adequate details on each day’s activities.”

Eastman Cooke invested in this technology because of the company’s passion for driving results for its clients.  Known for their ability to collaborate with building owners, the design team, subcontractors and third-party consultants in order to deliver superior results to their clients, ECA implemented PROCORE to make their project management system even stronger.

“The transparency PROCORE offers across all members of the team is excellent,” says Christopher Varvaris, Associate Project Manager. “And the document control is a huge time saver.”

All ECA staff are currently trained and certified in the operation of PROCORE.  The team is excited for this to become the baseline for managing all future projects.
