Construction is progressing well at 438 W 51st St. After finishing demolition of the first floor slab in early fall, last month the project team replaced corroded beams with new steel, installed the deck and poured new concrete. In addition to this progress on the first floor, we have installed beams and deck on floors 2-5, and are in the process of constructing Stair A.. On the roof, the team is welding baseplates to existing column tops in preparation to receive the penthouse steel next month. The installation of the parapet stones will complete the façade work.
